Access Bank Plc appoints Adeolu Bajomo as Executive Director, Information Technology and Operations.
His appoint which has received regulatory approval follows the resignation of Mrs Ojinika Olaghere.
Bajomo is a globally focused financial services industry executive with significant achievement cutting across banking, insurance and capital market.
Prior to joining Access Bank, he was the Executive Director, Market operations and Technology at the Nigerian Stock Exchange. In that role, he delivered market wide transformation initiatives that firmly established the exchange as the second largest bourse in Africa by market capitalization with over 7 million investors.
Bajomo had worked has Regional Head of Transformation at Barclays Bank Plc, UK; Head of IT Strategy and systems at Pearl Insurance Group, UK; IT Director at Fortis Bank amongst other leadership role.
He holds an MBA from CASS business school; Msc Information System Engineering from South Bank University, London and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University.
The chairman of Access Bank, Mrs Mosun Bello- Olusoga, in her address said the bank was delighted to welcome Adeolu Bajomo on board. According to her, Bajomo is endowed with very relevant banking industry and significant boardroom experience from global leading institutions.
